Approach (in-person or virtual)

Assessments can sometimes feel overwhelming for both children and their families. My goal is to create a supportive and welcoming environment where open communication helps guide the process. Each assessment is tailored to the individual needs of the child, ensuring that everyone involved feels heard and understood.

By building strong rapport with both children and parents, I strive to create a comfortable and relaxed experience throughout the assessment process. Through ongoing communication, collaboration, and comprehensive evaluations, my goal is to answer your questions clearly and provide personalized recommendations that support each child’s growth and success.

Education & Experience

Growing up just outside of the Ottawa Valley area, I always knew I wanted to return to Ontario. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire as a Division 1 athlete, I continued to pursue my passion for hockey by playing four years of professional hockey in North America. During this time, I also completed my Master of Arts in Psychology. I later returned to Ontario and have since settled in the Ottawa Valley, a region known for its beautiful landscapes and welcoming communities.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly pursue additional coursework to expand my knowledge and skills. I believe knowledge is a powerful tool, and understanding how individuals learn best is essential to providing meaningful and effective support.

My professional experience includes conducting educational and psychoeduational assessment, as well as providing educational support to both neurotypical and neurodiverse students. Previously, I have worked with children and adults in in-home treatment settings, supporting individuals and families in their everyday environments.

In 2026, I joined the team at Pembroke Psychological Services. In this role, I work collaboratively with Dr. Alisha Henson to provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children and youth.
