Approach

Laura believes in the importance of building connections with children to facilitate real change. She views each child as the individual that they are and does not believe in one approach fits all. 

education and experience

Laura has over 26 years of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds in different settings. She has completed training in various crisis and behaviour management programs and is a registered behaviour technician through the Geneva Center for Autism. 

As a Child & Youth Worker, Laura provides children with complex needs the opportunity to strengthen their emotional regulation,  social skills, and executive functioning through connection, fun and play-based learning.
